Baguio City 2017 - Day 2

DAY 2 To start off the day, the little monkey woke up early to run around the grounds of St. Patrick Village. He had just finished his oatmeal breakfast, which I was able to cook at the comfort of the house we rented.  This is the house we stayed in. Pathway leading to the exit A modern day Romeo and Juliet scene with the aunt Just as we were headed up to get ready for another exciting day, the little monkey's ears perked up when he heard a "Ta-hooooo!!!!" entering the village grounds. And boy, was I excited to find out that they offered another unique flavor - ube taho! What a way to start the day! :)  Kuya Willie arrived a few minutes past 9am, and off we went to Baguio Botanical Garden. *Baguio Van Rentals provided their drivers with their own lodging, so Kuya Willie didn't stay with us (even though there was more than enough room; they have a driver's quarters just beside the garage).  Family picture! Baguio City 2017 - Day 3

DAY 3 Here's a glimpse (with pictures) of what the inside of our rented house at St. Patrick looks like. The house can be rented for Php 18,000 a night. It was pricey for our small group, but would have been worth it for a bigger group.  Room# 1 at Lower Ground CR inside Room # 1 Stairs going to the main floor Living room (Main door is on the right) Dining room just across the living room Kitchen (Pots and pans, knives, chopping board, plates, utensils, rice cooker, water dispenser with 5 Gal water, water kettle are all provided.) Room # 2 at Main floor CR just outside Room # 2 Stairs leading to 2nd Floor Room# 3: Master's Bedroom (there's a CR inside) Room # 4 across the Master's Bedroom (CR located beside the room) Stairs going to Attic St. Patrick Village was nice enough to hold my downpayment for 1 year. NAIA 2 and its Infant Feeding Station

A few weeks ago, I had to travel to Canada without MBS.  With the long haul flight and being outside my own comfort zone, I realized I was going to have a hard time with pumping and breast milk handling. Thoughts of where I was going to pump, how I was going to pump (in public areas) worried me.  So, I'd have to say that I was immensely happy when I saw the Infant Feeding Station at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2. The station is located at the left end of the waiting area after you pass the carry-on luggage X-ray and metal detector.  The sign of the station was a bit hard (for me) to see because firstly, I have blurry vision and secondly, the sign was way smaller than the MASSAGE sign beside it.  But the station was truly a welcome sight, esp. since it's air-conditioned inside.
