Hide and Seek!

MBS opens her half-closed eyes and, guided by MH, looks for my hiding place. 
She runs around the room, and there's a big question mark on her face as she wonders where I might be hiding.

She checks under the sheets, which was my previous hiding place.
She checks the crib, which was my hiding place earlier as well.
I let out a fake sneeze, and MBS becomes alert. 
"Mamee!"
She walks over her favorite mat, not knowing that she was stepping on me. 
"Ha-choo!" I let out a fake sneeze again.
"Ma-mee?" She steps out of the mat and sees the bump. 
Finally, she yanks the mat over her head and has a HUGE grin plastered on her face. 

Our laughter fills the whole room and my heart is filled with happiness! :)

Today, MBS played hide-and-seek with me and MH. And it is truly a night to remember. :)
I love how MBS tries to communicate with us. And I love how hide-and-seek helps her master counting. :)

"Hide!" She tells me as she pulls her dad's hand to where they were counting a while ago. MBS closes her eyes for a split second before winking one eye open.

I better go and hide now. MBS is about to find me :D

DAY 2 To start off the day, the little monkey woke up early to run around the grounds of St. Patrick Village. He had just finished his oatmeal breakfast, which I was able to cook at the comfort of the house we rented.  This is the house we stayed in. Baguio City 2017 - Day 3

DAY 3 Here's a glimpse (with pictures) of what the inside of our rented house at St. Patrick looks like. The house can be rented for Php 18,000 a night. It was pricey for our small group, but would have been worth it for a bigger group.  Room# 1 at Lower Ground CR inside Room # 1 Stairs going to the main floor Living room (Main door is on the right) Dining room just across the living room Kitchen (Pots and pans, knives, chopping board, plates, utensils, rice cooker, water dispenser with 5 Gal water, water kettle are all provided.) Room # 2 at Main floor CR just outside Room # 2 Stairs leading to 2nd Floor Room# 3: Master's Bedroom (there's a CR inside) Room # 4 across the Master's Bedroom (CR located beside the room) Stairs going to Attic St. Patrick Village was nice enough to hold my downpayment for 1 year. Youji & Me Clearance Sale

While browsing Facebook, I chanced upon Youji & Me having a clearance sale ! :)  I love clearance or warehouse sales. They mean 50% off the original price, or sometimes even more. :) It's too bad the company didn't give a clearance sale before MBS was born. If they did, it would've saved us a lot of money.  The crib and playpen MBS uses now were both bought from Youji & Me by MBS's grandparents.  From what i've gathered, it's part of Chinese tradition that the mom-side grandparents of the baby have to buy the crib. It's also tradition not to assemble the crib before the baby arrives. In our case though, we had the crib assembled when it was delivered to our place. We didn't put on the sheets yet though. We waited for MBS to come out before doing that.  The initial plan was to put the crib at our place and the playpen at MBS's grandparents' place.
