Conversations with MBS at 2

While MH was scratching a mosquito bite, MBS went over to him and said,
"Daddy, bo be pe." (Daddy, do not scratch.)

When MBS comes home from school, she always goes to MH to say, "Daddy, I to lai lo!" (Daddy, I'm home!"

We have an uncle visiting us, so we ask MBS to say that to him as well. One day, however, I forgot to instruct her to tell her great uncle that she's home. So after greeting her dad, she looks at me and goes, "Mommy, Di Ku Kong le?" (Mommy, where is Di Ku Kong [what she calls her great uncle]?)

MBS sees me bring home Potato Corner and rushes to me. She has a wide smile on her face. She doesn't touch it though. Later on, she goes to me and asks, "Mommy, who is the fries for?"
When I answer that its for her, her face lights up even more, runs to the fries, and eats.

At the same time, she offers us the fries and says, "Sharing is good."

I was about to drink my Anlene milk when MBS comes up to me. Eyeing my drink, she goes, "Mommy, sharing is good. Sharing is good." I asked if she wanted to try the drink, to which I got an instant yes and a huge smile. :)

Baguio City 2017 - Day 2

DAY 2 To start off the day, the little monkey woke up early to run around the grounds of St. Patrick Village. He had just finished his oatmeal breakfast, which I was able to cook at the comfort of the house we rented. This is the house we stayed in. Baguio City 2017 - Day 3

DAY 3 Here's a glimpse (with pictures) of what the inside of our rented house at St. Patrick looks like. The house can be rented for Php 18,000 a night. It was pricey for our small group, but would have been worth it for a bigger group. Room# 1 at Lower Ground CR inside Room # 1 Stairs going to the main floor Living room (Main door is on the right) Dining room just across the living room Kitchen (Pots and pans, knives, chopping board, plates, utensils, rice cooker, water dispenser with 5 Gal water, water kettle are all provided.) Youji & Me Clearance Sale

While browsing Facebook, I chanced upon Youji & Me having a clearance sale ! :) I love clearance or warehouse sales. They mean 50% off the original price, or sometimes even more. :) It's too bad the company didn't give a clearance sale before MBS was born. If they did, it would've saved us a lot of money. The crib and playpen MBS uses now were both bought from Youji & Me by MBS's grandparents. From what i've gathered, it's part of Chinese tradition that the mom-side grandparents of the baby have to buy the crib. It's also tradition not to assemble the crib before the baby arrives. In our case though, we had the crib assembled when it was delivered to our place. We didn't put on the sheets yet though. We waited for MBS to come out before doing that.
