Head bands

Head bands are a MUST in accessorizing baby girls nowadays. Of course, MBS is no exception. My sister-in-law has showered MBS with loads of head bands. But with MBS being my first born, "loads" has never been enough. :)

I don't have the luxury of going malling every now and then since I need to save up milk for MBS. So, I do what most first-time moms do - surf the net high and low for whatever cute or cool stuff they see online. :) And as of the moment, for me, that is looking for head bands :)

When I found the site of Celestina & Co., I became such a happy person. :) There were so many choices of head bands and beanies! I love to play dress up with MBS, so going through the site and imagining MBS wearing the head bands made my day. :)

Most head bands leave a mark on the head of MBS, which causes panick for me since I imagine her head being squished. So, I purchased a few cloth-lined head bands from Celestina & Co. just to see if there will be a difference.

Ordered my items last Sunday. Celestina's office called me yesterday to confirm my orders and mentioned that they will be shipped today. Hopefully, I'll be able to get them tomorrow :) Can't wait to try the head bands on MBS! :)

Baguio City 2017 - Day 3

DAY 3 Here's a glimpse (with pictures) of what the inside of our rented house at St. Patrick looks like. The house can be rented for Php 18,000 a night. It was pricey for our small group, but would have been worth it for a bigger group.  Room# 1 at Lower Ground CR inside Room # 1 Stairs going to the main floor Living room (Main door is on the right) Dining room just across the living room Kitchen (Pots and pans, knives, chopping board, plates, utensils, rice cooker, water dispenser with 5 Gal water, water kettle are all provided.) Room # 2 at Main floor CR just outside Room # 2 Stairs leading to 2nd Floor Room# 3: Master's Bedroom (there's a CR inside) Room # 4 across the Master's Bedroom (CR located beside the room) Stairs going to Attic St. Patrick Village was nice enough to hold my downpayment for 1 year. We were supposed to go last year, but we had a family emergency.  I was really charmed by this place (...

NAIA 2 and its Infant Feeding Station

A few weeks ago, I had to travel to Canada without MBS.  With the long haul flight and being outside my own comfort zone, I realized I was going to have a hard time with pumping and breast milk handling. Thoughts of where I was going to pump, how I was going to pump (in public areas) worried me.  So, I'd have to say that I was immensely happy when I saw the Infant Feeding Station at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2. The station is located at the left end of the waiting area after you pass the carry-on luggage X-ray and metal detector.  The sign of the station was a bit hard (for me) to see because firstly, I have blurry vision and secondly, the sign was way smaller than the MASSAGE sign beside it.  But the station was truly a welcome sight, esp. since it's air-conditioned inside. I got a chance to beat the warm temperature in the waiting area for a while. :) Hopefully someday, all airports will soon be equipped with their o...

Hong Kong Disneyland (June 2018)

Since MBS kept true to her goal of getting a gold merit award on the 4th grading of her K1 journey (Yay!), I had to keep my word of granting her wish - a trip to Hong Kong Disneyland. We arrived at HKIA around 5:30pm and had our dinner first before heading to the happiest place in the world. I loved that they cut the noodles for the kids so they won't have a hard time eating! MBS LM After filling our tummies, we headed off to the taxi area. HK taxis are set into three categories or colors, depending on the area: red for urban/city areas, blue for Lantau island, and green for New Territories. All three colors can bring us HK Disneyland. However, the red one is a bit more expensive than the green and blue ones. We took the green taxi. The ride to the Disneyland Explorer's Lodge cost us 147 HKD. Finally, we checked into HK Disneyland's Explorer Lodge! Hong Kong Disneyland offers three hotel choices: Disneyland Hotel, Hollywood Hotel, a...
