Youji & Me Clearance Sale

While browsing Facebook, I chanced upon Youji & Me having a clearance sale! :) I love clearance or warehouse sales. They mean 50% off the original price, or sometimes even more. :)

It's too bad the company didn't give a clearance sale before MBS was born. If they did, it would've saved us a lot of money. The crib and playpen MBS uses now were both bought from Youji & Me by MBS's grandparents.

From what i've gathered, it's part of Chinese tradition that the mom-side grandparents of the baby have to buy the crib. It's also tradition not to assemble the crib before the baby arrives. In our case though, we had the crib assembled when it was delivered to our place. We didn't put on the sheets yet though. We waited for MBS to come out before doing that.

The initial plan was to put the crib at our place and the playpen at MBS's grandparents' place. However, both crib and playpen were put to use at our place. So, MH and I decided to buy a spare playpen so MBS could stay there when she visited her grandparents.

The said clearance sale was something we took advantage of. :)

Their cribs, playpens, and strollers are really worth the sale. There are some items that have defects though - a tear in the net, loose teddy bears in the mobile - but nothing that you can't work around. Some items were the display units in their stores, but were still brand new.

They also sell sticker wall papers, diaper bags, plush toys, baby bottles, Safe Sippy bottles, potty training units, bottle warmers and sterilizers, and toys (floor puzzles, Boikido toys, bean bags, etc.). They even had a kid-sized steam roller that could actually be pedaled on sale for Php 2000+ (originally Php 4000+).

The clearance sale carried all products that Youji & Me distributed - Boikido, Cuddlebug, Capella, Nuby, Richell, Silver Cross, Safe Sippy to name a few.

This clearance sale is best for expecting parents - who were in fact the majority of the customers who were there. And the best thing is, they accept credit cards! :)

Here are some of the things that were on sale:

Cuddlebug Parker play pen price from Php 6,999.75 to Php 3,499.88 (image taken from Youji&Me site)
Nipple good for teething (price from Php 219.75 to Php 65.92)

To prevent choking when starting with solid foods (price from Php 389.75 to Php 194.88)

(price from Php 849.75 to Php 424.88)

Richell Step and Potty (price from Php 1999.75 to Php 999.88)

Richell Step and Potty can double as a chair or stand
We also got  the Riverside crib Toddler Kit for Php 500.00 (originally Php 1,999.75).
The toddler kit can be converted from crib to toddler bed and day bed. :)

If you want to take advantage of this clearance sale, there's another one coming up next week from August 23-25, 2013. :)

  1. . After a while the handle made my hand a bit sore, so I switched to my more usual grip over the top of the blade. This was more comfortable than it may look https://fencingbuilders.yolasite.com/contact.php

Baguio City 2017 - Day 3

DAY 3 Here's a glimpse (with pictures) of what the inside of our rented house at St. Patrick looks like. The house can be rented for Php 18,000 a night. It was pricey for our small group, but would have been worth it for a bigger group.  Room# 1 at Lower Ground CR inside Room # 1 Stairs going to the main floor Living room (Main door is on the right) Dining room just across the living room Kitchen (Pots and pans, knives, chopping board, plates, utensils, rice cooker, water dispenser with 5 Gal water, water kettle are all provided.) Room # 2 at Main floor CR just outside Room # 2 Stairs leading to 2nd Floor Room# 3: Master's Bedroom (there's a CR inside) Room # 4 across the Master's Bedroom (CR located beside the room) Stairs going to Attic St. Patrick Village was nice enough to hold my downpayment for 1 year. We were supposed to go last year, but we had a family emergency.  I was really charmed by this place (...

NAIA 2 and its Infant Feeding Station

A few weeks ago, I had to travel to Canada without MBS.  With the long haul flight and being outside my own comfort zone, I realized I was going to have a hard time with pumping and breast milk handling. Thoughts of where I was going to pump, how I was going to pump (in public areas) worried me.  So, I'd have to say that I was immensely happy when I saw the Infant Feeding Station at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2. The station is located at the left end of the waiting area after you pass the carry-on luggage X-ray and metal detector.  The sign of the station was a bit hard (for me) to see because firstly, I have blurry vision and secondly, the sign was way smaller than the MASSAGE sign beside it.  But the station was truly a welcome sight, esp. since it's air-conditioned inside. I got a chance to beat the warm temperature in the waiting area for a while. :) Hopefully someday, all airports will soon be equipped with their o...

Hong Kong Disneyland (June 2018)

Since MBS kept true to her goal of getting a gold merit award on the 4th grading of her K1 journey (Yay!), I had to keep my word of granting her wish - a trip to Hong Kong Disneyland. We arrived at HKIA around 5:30pm and had our dinner first before heading to the happiest place in the world. I loved that they cut the noodles for the kids so they won't have a hard time eating! MBS LM After filling our tummies, we headed off to the taxi area. HK taxis are set into three categories or colors, depending on the area: red for urban/city areas, blue for Lantau island, and green for New Territories. All three colors can bring us HK Disneyland. However, the red one is a bit more expensive than the green and blue ones. We took the green taxi. The ride to the Disneyland Explorer's Lodge cost us 147 HKD. Finally, we checked into HK Disneyland's Explorer Lodge! Hong Kong Disneyland offers three hotel choices: Disneyland Hotel, Hollywood Hotel, a...
